Office privacy booth installation: 5 acoustic meeting pods for the thown hall office in Geertruidenberg
The municipality of Geertruidenberg has completely renewed the interior of its town hall and has opted for a modern, privacy-friendly way of working. As part of this upgrade, we delivered and installed five acoustic office privacy booths, four of which are furnished as civil affairs service desks and one office privacy booth as a multifunctional work and meeting box for employees. These privacy booths offer a modern solution for confidential conversations and flexible workspace design within government buildings.

Town hall furnishing with meeting boxes ensures privacy and peace for all types of appointments
The meeting boxes used as four civil affairs desks are utilized for a wide range of citizen appointments:
- Applications for passports and identity cards
- Driver’s licenses
- Extracts and official documents
- Conversations within the social domain
- And much more
Thanks to the acoustic walls and glazing, conversations in each meeting box can be conducted confidentially. Citizens can safely and privately discuss their situation without others being able to overhear.
Smart customization: double doors for perfect visitor flow
An important customization feature in this project is the integration of two doors per box:
- Staff entrance from the office area, where employees can take their seat directly at their desk.
- Visitor entrance from the waiting room, where citizens sit opposite the employee.
Thanks to clear numbering of the boxes and an automatic queue management system, the flow is smooth and structured. Visitors know exactly where to go, and employees can continue working efficiently.
The meeting boxes are equipped as standard with a self-operating ventilation system that regulates itself based on CO₂ measurements inside the box. This system automatically increases or decreases the supply of fresh air for a healthy and comfortable working environment. For this project, however, the municipality chose to centrally manage all climate facilities. Therefore, the ventilation system of the boxes is integrated into the building’s general climate control systems. As a result, air quality automatically aligns with the building climate, keeping the rooms comfortable for both visitors and employees without additional controls or separate equipment.
A beautiful custom feature is the addition of a privacy layer in the glass door. This keeps the open and accessible look intact, while providing the right level of privacy.
A fifth office privacy booth for employees: for meetings, calls or focused work
In addition to the four public desks, one meeting box is furnished as an internal workspace.
This box is used for, among other things:
- Internal meetings
- (Video) calls
- Phone conversations
- Focused group or solo work
This reduces noise pollution on the office floor and increases productivity.

The space started as an open, partially stripped floor with exposed ceilings and construction materials. In a short time, we transformed this environment into a modern public area with fully installed boxes, glass walls, integrated ventilation and a sleek finish.
